The Lomo 5/4 Junior Wetsuit is, in our opinion, the best value childrens 5/4 wetsuit
on the market today. Designed for all year round use it competes with wetsuits
costing up to 3 times the price. The wetsuit is made entirely of Lomo's
TIMAX neoprene which has an added layer of titanium between the neoprene
and the inner nylon lining to reflect the body's heat back inwards and keep
you even warmer than conventional neoprene.

The wetsuit uses double blindstiched and glued seams throughout. Blind
stitching is undoubtedly the best stitch for keeping water out because the
thread does not penetrate through the full width of the material and there
is therefore no hole for water to penetrate. To give added strength we blindstitch
both the inside and outside of the seam and combine this with a glued seal
where the panels meet. This combination make for a seam that is almost completely
waterproof.

At the rear of
the wet suit we've added a handy drawcord to the high quality YKK zipper
to help you get the zip up when you're on your own. You don't need to be
a contortionist to get this suit on. This picture also illustrates the double
stitching line used on the zip and the adjustable neck fastener. The neck
features a smoothskin seal on the inside to reduce water flushing through
your suit. |

our cuffs and ankles
feature an internal smoothskin seal to reduce the amount of water that gets
into your suit and keep you warmer.. |

We've added
reinforced, padded knees for kneeboards etc. and hope they will reduce
those embarrassing holes in the knees of your suit. |
At
the moment we have only manufactured 14-16 and 12-14 sizes in this wetsuit
as we have very little demand for smaller children's winter suits that this. However,
if we receive feedback that there is a higher demand for smaller sizes than
this then we may introduce these sizes later this year.
