Insect repellent containing 100% DEET. Repel Xtreme is a maximum strength insect repellent designed for use in extreme tropical conditions to help protect against the risk of malaria and other insect-borne diseases such as dengue fever, West Nile Virus and filariasis. The insect repellent effect can last for up to 8 hours, depending on prevailing conditions.
This insect repellent is not suitable for use on children. Instead use a milder insect repellent.
This strength of insect repellent should be considered for use when traveling in remote rural areas of tropical and sub-tropical central and south America (e.g. Brazil, Colombia, Panama and the Caribbean Islands), sub-Saharan Africa (e.g. Nigeria, Cameroon, Congo, Kenya and Tanzania), India and Pakistan, and south-east Asia, including Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. When staying in major towns and cities in these regions, consider using a milder insect repellent such as 55% DEET Repel Traveller.
